115 Bourbon Street Live Band Info Whata Bout Bob www.whataboutbobband.com "Whata 'Bout Bob?" is the latest genesis of the "Shocan Band," which many people identify them with. The group originated back in 1990 at Eastern Illinois University with Wayne Cook on bass, Tommy Hoey on drums, and Bob Stinnett on guitar. In January of 1996 Al Mastro joined up to play guitar and keyboards. In early 1999 Bob's personal life made it impossible for him to continue playing with the band on a consistant basis. In 2000 Mike Hoey stepped in for Bob and thus the name "Whata 'Bout Bob?" was born. Soon after, Mike was forced to leave the band for personal reasons. In 2001 Steve Bunjes signed on to play keyboards, percussion and vocals. In 2002 Kevin Hicks joined the band as lead guitarist to round out the band's current line up.
